Naeem Raza
Chief Executive Officer
Naeem Raza is a citizen of the United States of America and holds a Top Secret Government Security Clearance. Naeem has more than 25 years experience in relational database applications. He founded the company in 1992 after holding various technical and management positions at Oracle Corporation and McDonnell Douglas. With demonstrated achievements in aligning business with technology, Raza excels at reducing operating costs, enhancing services and increasing sales through the efficient use of information systems. He brings experience in a variety of industries including telecommunications, health care management, multi-media service delivery, internet applications, customer information systems, credit card transaction processing and public utilities. Raza holds a master’s degree in systems management and computer science from the Florida Institute of Technology, where he also taught management, economics, computer science and marketing courses. In addition he holds a master’s degree in Business Administration. |
Jeffrey Polyak
Vice President of Solutions
Jeffrey Polyak is an accomplished leader in IT solutions sales and systems implementation. As Vice President of Solutions, Mr. Polyak manages all aspects of the implementation, sales and marketing of Sunflower Systems asset management solutions. Mr. Polyak joined Sunflower in 2005 as Director of Professional Services to lead the team responsible for product implementations and high-value consulting services. Prior to joining Sunflower, Mr. Polyak served in management roles at Oracle Corporation and BearingPoint where he led teams focused on systems implementation, software integration, lifecycle asset management solutions and Federal ERP system deployments. Before joining BearingPoint, Mr. Polyak was an Associate at Columbus Public Affairs providing political strategy and advocacy in the healthcare, banking and high-tech arenas. Mr. Polyak holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University. |
John Peiler
Director Finance and Operations
John Peiler joined Sunflower in April 2008. Peiler is an accomplished financial expert and is responsible for managing the finance and operations teams at Sunflower. John joins us after working for Irwin Home Equity In San Ramon, California as an Associate Director of Finance & Accounting. Prior to that, he was the Controller and C.F.O. for NorthStar Risk Management and Insurance Services in Walnut Creek, California. He received his BA in Business/Economics from The University of California, Santa Barbara and his M.B.A. from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. |
Brian E. Thompson
Vice President of Solutions, Strategic Markets
Brian Thompson is Vice President Solutions, Strategic Markets for Sunflower Systems where his responsibilities include the sales and marketing of Sunflower Systems solutions to key strategic accounts, exploring new markets and enhancing sales operations.
Mr. Thompson is a respected executive with a distinguished 18-year career leading software sales and professional services operations for turnaround and S&P 500 organizations. Mr. Thompson currently serves as NPMA Western Region Vice President.
Mr. Thompson previously served as Vice President of Sales for AssetSmart and also as Director of Sales for SunGard.
Mr. Thompson also currently serves as Director of Program Development for Train 4 Autism, an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for autism. Mr. Thompson earned a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pepperdine University and is a former faculty member of the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. |
Valerie Rovine
Vice President of Professional Development
Valerie Rovine has over 15 years experience providing Change Management, Business Intelligence and Workforce Transition solutions to Federal and civilian organizations. She has a proven track record implementing change solutions that promote organization effectiveness, enhance business processes, and help organizations meet their business goals. As Vice President of Professional Development, Ms. Rovine is responsible for developing and training the Sunflower workforce, as well as educating customers on Sunflower’s capabilities and solutions. Prior to joining Sunflower, Ms. Rovine served as the Program Director and Change Management Director for the NIH Business System, leading the rollout and operations of the NIH’s Oracle Financials and Sunflower Assets implementations. Before joining NIH, Ms. Rovine served in management roles for Sunflower Systems and BearingPoint, where she provided asset management, ERP, business intelligence and change management solutions. Ms. Rovine holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Millersville University. She currently serves as the Director of Professional Development for the National Property Management Association’s Eastern Region. |
